The region of Murcia is served by two Spanish airports, Alicante and in Murcia (San Javier), with a third airport to be completed soon in Corvera. San Javier Airport
The small airport of San Javier, which is located 45 km outside of Murcia City along the Mar Menor lake, is used by a variety airlines. No direct bus connections and train stations exist from the airport of San Javier and the only way to travel from Murcia airport are the taxi or Murcia car hire, about a 20 minute journey. Our property management company does offer transfers to and from the apartment.
A new, larger airport is being built in Corvera, Murcia. Corvera Airport is intended to serve a comprehensive range of UK and European low-cost airlines.
Alicante Airport
A slightly larger airpot, located about 11 kilometres from the city of Alicante at El Altet and is easy to get to from the main A7 motorway. Cars and Taxis can be hired here too and the journey to our apartment is just over 1 hour. Our property management company offer transfers to and from this airport too.
